In 2015 the Moscow Halal Expo exhibition will be conducted in a new B2B (business-to-business) format.
Over the years of its existence the event has turned into the biggest business platform. The distinguishing feature of this year's exhibition is that its major goal is related to business development. While its participants' main objective used to be presenting their products to buyers, from now on the priority will be given to establishing business contacts, conducting negotiations, searching for effective ways of production expansion and sales growth. Business programme will also be focused on business development. Special attention will be given to the investment sector, as the Russian production is in desperate need for financing. Investment organizations representing Islamic fundraising sector will participate in the exhibition. One of the industries attracting a great interest of investors is live stock breeding, including slaughtering, meat processing and its further exporting. Therefore, financial companies are ready to invest in whole agricultural clusters for further export.
Export expansion is an important aspect of the Russian business development. Some companies already export fish, caviar and poultry to Islamic countries. Companies will be able to find new markets for their products at the exhibition.
Switching to B2B format will allow to examine in detail the challenges faced by each industry sector. According to the exhibition organizers, this modern format will attract new participants, which will become a strong incentive for development and take the Russian halal market to a whole new level.
