Many halal manufacturers face issues related to supplying their products to retail chains. This question was on the agenda at the Moscow Halal Economy Forum 2016.
Cooperation with foreign companies offers a wide range of opportunities. Mr Driss Dehbi, managing director of Jebal Al Atlas, demonstrated a great interest in joining forces. This company is one of the biggest international distributors of halal products. It has already started its work in Russia. The company will supply products to our country and will serve as a distributor of Russian manufacturers’ products at the UAE market.
Stephen Kreeger, commercial director for RosAgroMarket, presented some important information in his report. He spoke about opportunities provided to Russian companies by Wholesale and Distribution Centres. The first centres are going to open in 2017 in Novosibirsk and the Moscow region. Such projects will allow producers to solve issues related to storage, warehouses, packaging, logistics, and other similar problems.
Cooperation between Russian companies and partners from Middle Eastern countries was also discussed at the forum. Participants from Algeria, India and Afghanistan also delivered their presentations.
On the whole, conducting such events and developing international cooperation helps to strengthen the presence of Russian companies at the local and worldwide product markets.
